MGERB participated in the regular meeting of the counsel of EDS which took place in Paris, France – between 22-26 of March 2009

MGERB participated in the regular meeting of the counsel of EDS (European Democrat Students) which took place in Paris. In three days the participants had the chance to meet three ministers, the rector of the Paris university and work in some sessions.





The first day started intensively with work breakfast together with Valerie Perez – minister of education – in which she explained the most important point of the polity that the French ministry accepted about the better education in university, the accommodation of students, not only in France but in whole Europe. Next was a walk and lunch in the castle of Versai with the minister of the national education – Havier Darkos. He proposed an offer about joining the cocktail-party in his ministry later on, in which the members of MGERB and everybody could ask, seek opinion and make a comment about important matters.




The second day was all work, with the
creation of work groups about discussion for the proposals that were made from different organizations and their final shaping. In the late evening Patrick Jerar –rector of the Paris university and former chairmen of EDS – walk them around the rector’s office of the Sorbonne and invite them to drink in the cabinet of cardinal Armand Jean du Plessis de Richelieu.



The end of the day was a nice dinner in excellent restaurant near the Eiffel tower, in which special gue
st was the chairmen of YEPP – Laurent Schouteten.

The last day went in whole-d
ay-conference of the counsel of EDS in the National Assembly where were voted the proposals of the working groups. There were discussed important matters like the situation in Moldova, a place was made for a discussion about the campaign for election a new EU parliament.

The Bulgarian participants made interesting proposal about an internet idea for new site for whole the Balkan countries in which every one country can impress the visitors with all kinds of info. The idea was welcomed greatly and it’s on working stage. Later the work of the students joined the minister of agriculture – Mishel Barnie who supported the event.







For end of this day was made a visit of the church Sacre Coeur and dinner in the most romantic part of Paris – Montmartre.
