In order for a policy to be successful, it needs to be clearly expressed and explained to society. The communication with citizens is of utmost importance for the political parties and in the 21st century the highlight needs to be put on online communication. The new strategy for communication with citizens for the European People’s Party was presented by Antonio López – Secretary-General of the European People’s Party and Kostas Sasmatzoglou – Spokesman of the European People’s Party. The role of the new technologies was presented by Ravi Singh – worked on the electronic campaign of President Obama.

In connection with the tragedy, which struck Poland, the chairpersons of the organisations sent their condolences to all of Europe, regarding the great loss, which struck the country. They also accepted a mutual declaration for the development of youth mobility in Europe.
