MGERB is handing out the "European Diary" in Bulgaria.

In the last month the youth structures of PP GERB in Sofia, Smolqn, Stara Zagora and Burgas were teaching students from 10 and 11 grade about the European Union - their rights as eropean citizens and specifically - their consumer rights .

The European Diary is translated in 27 languages, for all countries members of the EU and it's handing out freely to students in upper classes in whole Europe. The initiative for it's extra distribution in Bulgaria belongs to the european deputies of PP GERB - Nikolai Mladenov and Vladimir Uruchev. Yet again their was the iniciative in witch in the months of September and October, young members of MGERB from the country made akcnowledged with the helping appliance in special trainings in Ruse and Brussels.



The hour for "Knowing our rights as european citizens" is going pretty well among students from all Bulgaria. In this one hour the young members of MGERB are trying to make a representation of the European Diary, explaining the conception of the EU, it's institutions, the mechanics of taking decisions and our human, social and consumer rights.

In the end, the students have the chance to ask questions about the European Diary and it's content, and the members of MGERB are trying to do their best to answer them.


On the whole the meetings with the upper classes about the Diary are provoking no small interest about the EU and Bulgaria as a member of the union. Still there are more "teaching hours" about the EU that are to be made, and every student will get the chance to obtain a European Diary.
